Founded in Hawaiʻi in 2016 by childhood friends Melia Foster and Nicole Galchutt, Meli Wraps was born from a shared love for the ocean and a mission to reduce single-use plastic waste. Named after the Hawaiian word for “honeybee,” Meli Wraps creates reusable, compostable beeswax food wraps using locally sourced Hawaiian beeswax and 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. Designed to replace plastic wrap and sandwich bags, their colorful, long-lasting wraps make sustainable living simple and fun. Proudly made in Hawaiʻi, Meli Wraps supports local beekeepers, creates local jobs, and partners with organizations like the Surfrider Foundation to help protect our oceans.
